Backlit Arming Keypad

The keypad is the only part of the system most users ever touch, so it should make the right action obvious. A backlit LCD shows plain-language zone descriptions — 'Rear roller door open' rather than 'Zone 7' — so users can see why a system will not set instead of guessing. Each user has their own code with defined permissions and its own log entry, and a duress code silently signals the control room while appearing to disarm normally. Proximity-tag reading is available for sites where entering a code at the door is itself a risk.
