Outdoor Dual-Technology Detector

Outdoor detection is where cheap alarms lose credibility: wind-blown foliage, rain, animals and moving shadows generate false activations until users stop responding. A dual-technology detector requires both an infrared and a microwave detection event within a short window before it declares an alarm, which suppresses almost all single-cause false triggers. Anti-masking detects paint, tape or foam applied to the lens, and the sealed housing with hood is rated for direct weather. These protect garden approaches, courtyards, service yards and building perimeters ahead of the building skin.
