Indoor Sounder & Beacon Pair

An internal sounder is deliberately uncomfortable to stand next to. Its purpose is to shorten the time an intruder is willing to stay inside, and to make it impossible for anyone in the building to be unaware that the alarm has activated. The paired beacon covers noisy plant rooms and provides visual indication where hearing-impaired occupants work. Positioning matters: we place sounders in circulation spaces where sound carries through the building rather than in a corner where a closed door mutes them.
